God Chose Me —but Not Because I Was Worthy

I am not worthy because I’m flawless. I’m entrusted because God is faithful.

My responsibility is not to prove I deserve the message, but to carry it with humility, obedience, reverence, and fear of the LORD.

God does not entrust hard messages to prove the messenger is great. He entrusts them to reveal that His grace can form, refine, and use surrendered vessels.

Being chosen is not evidence of my superiority. It is evidence of His mercy.

Restored Through a Different Door

God did not return me to ministry by sending me back through the door that wounded me.

He restored me through writing, structure, service, and obedience until I could recognize that the business was also a ministry assignment.

I walked away from church folk, but God never let me walk away from Him.

What I thought was a business became the road He used to restore my ministry voice.

God did not restore me by recreating the past. He led me forward through a different expression of the assignment. The platform changed, but the call remained.

I cannot repay God for His mercy, and I cannot perfectly embody His grace. But I can surrender daily so that my life bears witness to the God who refined me, restored me, and entrusted me again.

Obedience Is a Response to Mercy

My obedience will never make me worthy of God’s mercy.

My obedience is the evidence that His mercy has humbled me enough to respond.

God loved me personally.

God restored me intentionally.

God assigned me purposefully.

But the glory belongs to Him completely.

God did not have to save me. He did not have to restore me. He did not need me because He is never without witnesses.

He saved me because He loved me, restored me because He wanted me unto Himself, and entrusted me with an assignment that points back to Him.

My salvation was about His love for me.

My assignment is about His glory through me.

Chosen by Mercy, Not for Pride

I am chosen by God, but I’m not chosen for pride.

I’m chosen by mercy, restored by grace, and entrusted with an assignment that must point back to Him.

No one can take away what God has chosen, restored, and entrusted. My responsibility is to carry it humbly, obey faithfully, and never confuse being chosen with being the source.

The gift did not originate with me.

The message does not belong to me.

The power is not mine.

I’m a vessel, not the source.

That truth allows me to stand boldly without standing proudly.

When Pride Tries to Enter the Assignment

If I say I love God, I cannot knowingly make room for what displeases Him.

When pride rises, I must not defend it, rename it, or dress it in spiritual language. I must surrender it.

The assignment God entrusted to me must never become a place where my flesh competes with His glory.

Love for God does not mean I will never stumble. It means I refuse to make peace with what He hates.

It means I receive correction.

It means I repent when necessary.

It means I return quickly when my heart begins to move away from humility, reverence, or obedience.

The danger is not only refusing the assignment. The danger is also accepting the assignment and then attempting to use it to exalt myself.

Boldness Without Pride

I can stand boldly on what God has given, but I must never stand proudly in what only He could have produced.

There is a difference between confidence in the assignment and confidence in the flesh.

Godly boldness says, “I will obey because God sent me.”

Pride says, “I deserve to be heard because I’m important.”

Those are not the same posture.

My words are powerful, but they remain accountable to God who holds my life, my breath, and my assignment.

The weight of the message should never make me believe that I am greater than the One who gave it.

The reach of the message should never make me forget the private places where He corrected, refined, and restored me.

The fruit of the assignment should never cause me to take credit for what only His grace could produce.

The Glory Belongs to God

My salvation revealed God’s love for me.

My assignment must reveal His glory through me.

That is the order I must never reverse.

God’s love rescued me personally, but the assignment is not meant to make me the center of the story. It is meant to direct attention toward His mercy, holiness, faithfulness, grace, and power.

I’m chosen by God, restored by grace, refined by mercy, and entrusted with an assignment that belongs to Him.

I will not treat lightly what God has entrusted to me.

I will write with reverence.

I will speak with humility.

I will obey with courage.

I will return quickly when correction is needed.

I will not confuse visibility with authority, influence with ownership, or calling with personal greatness.

My words are powerful, but they are accountable to the God who holds my life, my breath, and my assignment.

A Prayer of Surrender

Lord, I thank You for allowing me to write about You.

Keep my heart humble, my hands clean, my words truthful, and my spirit submitted.

Let nothing I write exalt me above the One who restored me.

Let every message point back to Your mercy, Your holiness, Your grace, and Your glory.

Remind me that being chosen is not permission for pride. It is a call to greater reverence, deeper obedience, and stricter accountability.

Help me carry what You have entrusted without making the assignment about me.

My salvation revealed Your love for me.

Amen.
